Since 1981, ora Kinderhilfe has been working to ensure that children facing difficult circumstances are given a real chance.
Was klein begann, ist heute eine Arbeit in 13 Ländern Afrikas und Osteuropas: Gemeinsam mit unseren lokalen Projektpartnern ermöglichen wir Bildung, sichern Ernährung und medizinische Versorgung und stärken Familien so, dass Kinder langfristig in einem stabilen Umfeld aufwachsen können. Dabei geht es uns nie nur um kurzfristige Hilfe, sondern immer um das Schaffen von Perspektiven – damit Kinder ihren eigenen Weg gehen können.

Zum Jubiläum haben wir uns ein klares Ziel gesetzt: 45.000 €, um unsere Projekte in Kenia nachhaltig zu sichern. Deine Spende ermöglicht sauberes Trinkwasser für Familien, tägliche Mahlzeiten für Kinder und die Auferechterhaltung des laufenden Schulbetriebes in Osiligi – inklusive Unterricht, Materialien und Betreuung.
In Osiligi, a region that hasn’t seen rain in five years, water has become a matter of survival. We are building wells to ensure that people have long-term access to clean drinking water—without relying on expensive water deliveries. Every well means life: for children, for families, for animals, and for the fields that provide their food.
Your donation goes directly toward providing concrete assistance on the ground: water deliveries, the construction of wells, and supplying families with basic necessities.

Die kleine Ziege mit großer Bedeutung
Unser Maskottchen “Oralie” steht für eine einfache Idee: Ziegen bilden in unseren Projektregionen eine wichtige Lebensgrundlage. Sie werden vermehrt und verkauft, ihre Milch und ihr Fleisch werden konsumiert. Sie schaffen damit zugleich physiologische und finanzielle Versorgung – und ermöglichen damit Familien in Afrika und Osteuropa mehr Unabhängigkeit und Eigenständigkeit. Oralie symbolisiert also genau das, wofür wir als ora Kinderhilfe arbeiten. Sie ist ein Symbol für das, was uns antreibt: Menschen zu befähigen, ihre Zukunft selbst zu gestalten.
Oralie gibt es nicht nur als Idee, sondern auch als Plüschtier zum Anfassenund Mitfreuen über das, was diese Tiere bewirken können. Unsere Plüsch-Oralie kostet 24,95€ zzgl. Porto und Versand. Alle Erlöse aus dem Verkauf kommen unserem Jubiläums-Spendenprojekt zugute. Du förderst damit die lebenswichtige Versorgung mit Trinkwasser für Kinder und Familien in Kenia.

“Children need a future—and people who stand up for them.” It is a matter close to our hearts to serve as patrons for the 45th anniversary of ora Kinderhilfe. What this organization has been doing for decades—for children in Africa and Eastern Europe who are growing up in need and poverty—deserves not only respect but genuine support. ora Kinderhilfe acts where it is needed most: close to the people, practically, reliably, and with staying power. At a time when the news shows us daily how fragile peace, humanity, and support can be, we need organizations that simply keep going. For the most vulnerable. We warmly congratulate ora Kinderhilfe on 45 years of support and impact. We wish ora many more supporters and look forward to raising awareness of and supporting this important work.
