These posters on the topic of "Children's rights - global and local" were created in cooperation with the international partner organizations of ora Kinderhilfe international e. V. Ten posters were designed from the 54 articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which summarize the most important rights in a child-friendly way. On each poster, a child from one of the partner countries has their say and reports on what they associate with the right. An informational text explains how children's rights are implemented in the country. The introductory poster presents the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and provides information on challenges in the implementation of children's rights worldwide. Poster no. 12 shows various options for action on how children (and adults) can stand up for children's rights.
In addition to the posters, we offer a free, 90-minute workshop for secondary schools from Year 8 upwards. The interactive workshop promotes pupils' understanding of the implementation of children's rights in Germany and other countries and enables them to develop their own options for action.
Please contact us at info@ora-kinderhilfe.de if you would like to find out more or book a workshop.
